What we know about you: nothing.

What the app stores
To work, HUPHUT keeps a few things on your iPhone:
- your workout settings (work time, rest time, rounds);
- how many workouts you've completed, and your rank;
- the time you picked for your reminder.
This stays on your phone. We can't see it. Like everything else on your iPhone, it may be included in your device backups (iCloud or your computer), which you and Apple control.
Reminders
Reminders are local notifications: your iPhone schedules and shows them itself. No server is involved. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings → Notifications → HUPHUT.
Challenge a buddy
"Challenge a buddy" opens the standard iOS share sheet with a short message and a link to the app. You choose whether to send it, who gets it and which app sends it. We don't see any of it.
Deleting your data
"Delete my file" in the app erases your rank, workout history and reminders from your phone, after you confirm. Your workout settings stay. Deleting the app erases everything it stored.
Crash reports from Apple
If you've turned on "Share with App Developers" in iOS (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and diagnostics. Apple runs this, not us, and you can switch it off there. We use these reports only to fix bugs.
The App Store
When you download HUPHUT, Apple handles that under its own privacy policy. Apple gives developers aggregated statistics, such as download counts, which don't identify you.
This website
huphut.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party fonts or scripts. Like any website, it can only be delivered by seeing your IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes it for that purpose and to protect the site from attacks, under its own privacy policy. We don't keep visitor logs.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete the conversation once it's resolved.
Future features
If a future version adds anything that sends data, such as an optional anonymous community counter, it will be off until you switch it on, it will never include anything from the "never collected" list, and this page will be updated before that version is released.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask what data we hold about you and have it deleted. Since the app sends us nothing, the answer is normally "none". Write to us anyway and we'll confirm.
